ABOUT ME

Thank you for visiting First Minds Chicago Home Daycare. My name is Robin Randle and I am grateful that you have taken the time to explore what we have to offer your family. As a mother of two, I know how difficult finding committed and supportive childcare and transportation can be. I have been a resident in the Auburn Gresham and North Beverly community for more than 20 years.

I am fully aware of the resources available to our young people in the city of Chicago. I have been providing care to children and seniors for over twenty years. During this time I obtained an AAS, BBA and numerous certifications. I am certified in First Aid, CPR and AED through the American Heart Association. I earned the ECE/SAYD Credential Level 1 through Gateways to Opportunity, the Illinois Professional Development System. I am committed to exceeding annual IDHS and DCFS required training hours.

In addition, I am certified in food handling by the State of Illinois. I am a certified CACFP Child Nutrition Professional (CCNP). I am licensed and insured for childcare and transportation. I have worked in corporate America, served as a mentor to teenage girls, served as a volunteer for local recreational programs, neighborhood committees, school programs and school advisory boards. After working 16 years in corporate America, I decided to follow my passion and work with building our young people.

I am confident in my abilities to meet your needs as a parent through communication that is transparent and consistent. While raising my own two children, I’ve had the honor to assist in raising 11 nieces and nephews. With that being said, I am well aware that no two children are the same. I have experience working with twins, autistic children and children with cognitive, social and emotional developmental delays. I focus on individualization as it relates to child rearing and teaching. Focusing on structure keeps consistency, therefore each child receives a customized plan that is followed up on a quarterly basis. My primary focus is to assist you (the parents) in raising children that are critical thinkers and leaders who reflect a community that is respectful, positive, educated, proud, patient, and confident.

Providing care in a clean, secure, loving and creative environment is my desire at all times.
